Course Description
This Level 3 program is specifically for personnel actively involved in well intervention operations. It
emphasizes practical pressure control, execution procedures, and immediate well control decision-making.
Learning Objectives
- Operate and manage completion equipment safely
- Execute completion operations under controlled pressure
- Apply optional intervention modules (Wireline, Coiled Tubing, Snubbing)
- Identify and mitigate operational risks in well intervention activities
- Prepare for and successfully complete IWCF assessments
Course Schedule
- Day 1–4: Training in Mandatory and Optional Modules (Completion Equipment,
Completion Operations, Wireline/Coiled Tubing/Snubbing as selected)
- Day 5: IWCF Assessment (Pass mark: 70%)
